Important Updates!

Greetings NCCU BLSA,

I hope everyone is having a fun, yet productive summer! Below are a couple of brief BLSA announcements.

Executive Board Selection

We will start the selection process for the appointed executive board positions during the first couple of weeks of classes.

The available positions are as follows—

  1. Parliamentarian
  2. First Year Representative
  3. Fundraising Chair
  4. Academics & Scholarship Chair
  5. Social Events Chair
  6. Community Service Chair
  7. Membership Chair*
  8. Social Action Chair*
  9. Professional Development Chair*
  10. College Student Division Liaison*
  11. Historian*

*New positions. Pending approval of 2008-2009 Constitution.

If you are interested in a particular position, please start brainstorming now. We will call for letters of intent for these positions immediately after our first General Body Meeting and the ratification of the 2008-2009 Constitution. SRBLSA Sub-Region 3 Updates

BLSA Annual Back to School Pool Party

CNN will present “Black in America”, a six-hour television event, examines the complex issues, successes and struggles of black men, women, and families.
